It is a matter of great pride and honour that Shri Punam Suri, President, DAVCMC was conferred the prestigious Padma Shri Award by President of India for his tireless services to the cause of education and his efforts in reawakening Aryan culture and values.

DAVPPS, Sonipat is a glittering bead in the rosary of the DAV institutions run by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. Haryana Police has liaised with DAV College Management Committee, New Delhi for uplifting standard of education for the wards of entire Haryana Police and christened them as “DAV Police Public School”. DAV Police Public School, Sonipat’s foundation is laid in the ambience of safety and greenery. The school is backed by an invigorating atmosphere, global creative curriculum, first class facilities and collaborative culture. The whole ambience is filled with shlokas of students while performing yagna havans every Wednesday.

It speaks volumes about the continued support and relentless team efforts of management, staff, parents and students. The ranks also inspire us to work meticulously to mould the school into a centre of excellence.

ACADEMIC & CULTURAL ACHIEVEMENTS (2018-19)

1. Students of DAV Police Public School secured 3^rd position in Patriotic Group Song Competition. It was organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad at DAV Multipurpose Public School.
2. Haryana State Council for Child Welfare organised different competitions at block , zonal , district and state level. Our school secured many positions at different levels as follows:-

1. 1^st position in group song and dance at block and zonal level.
2. Lakshaya of VI class secured 3^rd position at block level in solo dance competition.
3. Deepti secured 1^st position at block level in Rangoli making competition.
4. 1^st position in group song competition at state level.
5. Kush and Sagar secured 3^rd position in G.K. quiz at block level.

3. Anju of IX class secured 1^st position in Essay writing competition at block and district level in International Geeta Mahotsav 2018.
4. Simon of class VII secured 2^nd position in speech competition at block level in International Geeta Mahotsav 2018.
5.  Lakshay of IX class got consolation prize and he received cash prize of Rs. 5000/- in Essay Writing Competition at State Level.
6.  Students of DAV Police Public School performed group song at Chanakayapuri in National Police Memorial on the occasion of Shaheed Divas in presence of our honorable Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar. It was organised by DGP and IG.
7. Ms Sarita saroha was awarded with best teacher award at Distt. Level.
