INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

This independence Day let's take a pledge to protect the peace and unity of our great nation Happy Independence 

To mark the 75th Independence Day of India, DAV Police Public Sr. Sec. School, Sonipat held on
13 August 2021. The different departments of the school organised a plethora of virtually
interactive events and competitions for the students. This allowed the participants to express
their patriotic ideals and showcase their talent even in these unprecedented times. These trying
times did not dampen the spirit of pride and patriotism in the students as they participated in
these events with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The celebration started with the flag hoist by the Principal Sir Students presented speeches and
recited patriotic poems. In Interhouse dance competition the participants performed a solo
dance on a pre-recorded track wearing traditional Indian attire. The school conducted
Interhouse Display Board Competition on the auspicious occassion with te theme "Indepence
Day". The students beautifully showcased their dedication and patriotism through colourful
and beautiful displays. The celebration came to an end with motivational and patriotic speech
by the Principal sir addressing all the students, teachers and students.

The preservation of freedom is not the task of soldiers alone. The whole
nation has to be strong.
